I've been out of action for a few days with a dreadful cold, even spending a day in bed. It seems everyone's either got or had it, some worse than others. Anyway, feeling much better now, although still sniffling a bit, I managed to get these two lovelies made. One is a sample for a workshop I'm running in March. I have to say, I'm quite pleased with the flowers, especially the orange poppy. Poppies, in particular, are just so easy to make; several rough cut circles of organza, a flame (I love the way the edges go all crinkly) and a large button. I made some of these little purses a couple of years ago but needed to make another to test timings and check my instructions for the workshop.

Hope you feel totally well soon. It's not confined to the winter of the northern hemisphere, it's 35* (95*F) here, and my WM, DD! And both grandsons are sick with respiratory infections!
